REST and Verbs… come on!

LOL this just jumped out at me:

<form action=http://www.example.org/my-keywords>

…in HTML, the target URI specified for a form is called out as an action. Which means that up until the REST craze, every URI that you posted form data to identified a verb, and not a noun.

I’ve been saying for a while that the Interwebs were build on GET and POST. It seems the authors of the HTML spec, and the browser implementors, not only agreed, but actually mapped it as:

GET a noun
POST a verb
